When scanned, one edge of the original is always missing from the printout |

This is often caused by placing one corner of the original on one corner of the flatbed. |
Using one corner for positioning the copy is highly convenient; however, that corner may be out of the range of the scanner. Though it may be troublesome to correctly position the copy on the flatbed, make sure that it is placed so that it can be completely read by the scanner. |
If you need a guide mark for properly positioning the copy, make one from a thin paperboard or a sheet of plastic. |
